Once again, the IVERK Show is the destination for the world's best dressed to display their latest looks. This year, the Best Dressed competition will consist of two categories: Best Dressed Lady, sponsored by Red Mills Store, and Best Dressed Gent, sponsored by the Merrion Hotel!
Faith Amond, a Carlow native and former Aintree best dressed lady winner, will be the judge for this stylish competition.
First Place Prize for the Best Dressed Lady is a €500 voucher for the Red Mills Store and Second Prize is 1 night’s dinner, bed and breakfast in the Carraig Hotel, Carrick on Suir, Co Tipperary.
First Place Prize for the Best Dressed Gent is dinner in the Cellar restaurant plus 1 night’s B&B for 2 in the 5-star Merrion Hotel and Second Prize is jewellery from A&E Jewellers, Clonmel, Co Tipperary.
You can pre-register online for either competition on the Red Mills Store website, online pre-registration will close at 1pm on Friday the 26th of August. Alternatively, you can register on the day in Piltown. Registration on the day closes at 12.30pm, with judging taking place at 1.30pm.
There will also be a Bonny Babies competition on the day. The categories are 0 to 7 months; 7 to 12 months and 13 to 18 months. And the good news all babies will get a prize.
We will also be bringing our Red Mills Store pop-up shop to the Fashion tent at IVERK with a selection of the newest ladies' and men's fashions before the first fashion show of the day begins at 11:30 a.m.
Forget Paris, London and Milan... front row seats in the fashion marquee at the Iverk Show in Piltown, Co. Kilkenny is the place to be on Saturday August 27th as our local fashionistas take to the runway showcasing amazing new Autumn/Winter clothing at this years Fashion Show. After a 2 year hiatus it’s great to have this much loved event returning and this year we have some fantastic stores between Kilkenny, Tipperary and Waterford participating, a mixture of High Street, Independent Boutiques, Bridal, Menswear, Country Living there really is fashion for everyone, with 2 Fashion Shows on the day 11.30am and 3pm!
Remember to come early to secure your seat as these shows are the highlight of the day.
