Kilkenny's Next Top Madra Dog Show!

Is your dog the fairest of them all? Have they got skills you’ve been practising just for an event like this? Well then this is the dog show for them!

Taking place in our store in Cillin Hill, Kilkenny’s Next Top Madra dog show is the social event of the year for all our four-legged friends. This wonderful event will take place on Saturday 30^th July at 12:30pm and the classes are:

1. Most Pawsome Puppy
2. Best Rescue Dog
3. Best Small Breed
4. Quickest Sit
5. Best Medium Breed
6. Best Fancy Dress
7. Best Large Breed
8. Egg & Spoon Race (Dog on a Lead)
9. Best Golden Oldie
10. Best Kid + K9 under 12
11. Shiniest Coat
12. Best Treat Catcher

For the top dogs on the day, there will be a first, second and third place prize for each class as well as a first, second and third place Best in Show award.

To enter the dog show it is €3 per dog, per class with all proceeds going to PAWS Animal Rescue.

PAWS Animal Rescue was founded in 1997 with the mission of saving homeless and abandoned animals, particularly dogs from high-kill shelters and owners who are unable to care for them. Based in Mullinahone, Tipperary, PAWS has found loving homes for hundreds of dogs throughout the last 25 years.

Kilkenny’s Next Top Madra Dog Show is set to be the most pawsome dog show in town! All dogs are welcome and if don’t have any dogs but want to see what all the fuss is about then come down too! There will be plenty of fun stuff happening throughout each day so even if your pooch doesn't make it onto our stage, they’ll still have plenty fun and will be able to make loads of new friends.
