Santa Paws 2023!

Santa Paws 2023!

We had a great day in store welcoming so many gorgeous dogs to our Santa Paws event. Don’t forget to check out the image of your pet meeting Santa!

‘Twas the 7th of December,

And all through the Store

Not a creature was stirring

Except puppies galore

Santa Paws appeared, all dressed in red

All set to welcome doggos instead

Our furriest friends, all endlessly good

To pose for a photo, they quickly understood

“And Akira! And Beau! And Charlie, and Millie!

On Buster! On Nando! On Roxy and Molly!

To the top of the cafe! to the top of the Store!

To all of the staff hoping to give you just one pet more!

Huskies and Lurchers, and Pomeranians too,

With puppachinos to slurp and not share with you

And Leader treats all set to tickle their fancy

Spreading their joy for everyone to see

With visits from our friends, Husky Rescue and PAWS,

We simply could not hope to contain our ‘awws’

Such gorgeous dogs to meet and such hard, worthwhile work,

To chat and support them, our most beloved perk

And Santa Paws work done, to his car he gave a whistle

And all the good boys and girls waited for their instructions official

“Be merry and bright, and share your treats, as is right!

Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!”

FAQ

Common Questions About Grooming Dogs

It’s best to groom your dog daily, especially if they have long fur or are prone to shedding. Regular grooming helps manage shedding, prevent matting, and keep their coat healthy.

No, human shampoo can irritate your dog’s skin. Always use a dog-specific hypoallergenic shampoo to keep their skin healthy.

Start with short grooming sessions, use a grooming mitt instead of a brush, and reward your dog with treats. If necessary, consider using a calming supplement to help them relax.

Shaving your dog is generally not recommended unless it’s for medical reasons, as it can lead to sunburn and skin damage. If your dog’s coat is matted or they have a skin condition, consult a professional groomer.

There are various flea and tick treatments available, including topical treatments, oral medications, and collars. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best option for your dog.
