Cleaning: Make sure you clean areas prone to debris, like the gasket, wheels and latches. A scrubbing brush helps with tougher stains or use a high-pressure sprayer. Store your cooler completely dry and closed.
WARNING-Risk of Child Entrapment: Children can suffocate if they become trapped inside the cooler. Do not allow children to play or climb in the cooler.
CAUTION-Risk of Child Injury: Do not allow children to sit, stand or play on the cooler, or ride on wheeled coolers and always provide adult supervision when the cooler is in use around children.
FAQ
How tough is this portable cool box?
Don’t let the size fool you, this picnic cooler is made with RockSolid™ Strength – meaning it is armoured to the core and virtually indestructible. So goods stay fresh and safe at the beach or park.
Is it easy to clean?
Yes. YETI recommend using soap and warm water. If you need a heavy-duty cleaning, use a 6:1 solution of warm water and bleach with a sponge or mildly abrasive rag.
Will it also keep my hot items hot?
Yes, the same insulation and thick walls that keep the cooler cold also keep the heat.
Is this cool box dry ice compatible?
Absolutely. The gasket allows for carbon dioxide gas to escape, making it dry-ice compatible. See YETI's instructions on how to use dry ice with your Roadie® Cooler.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, the Roadie® Hard Cooler comes with a five-year warranty. For more information, please visit YETI's Warranty Information page.
Is it leakproof?
No. If it ever ends up on its side or upside down, liquid will likely leak out. If leakproof performance is critical to you, we recommend checking out YETI's Hopper Flip® Soft Coolers.
Can I stand on it or use it as a casting platform?
Do not stand on or use the Roadie® Cool Box as a casting platform. While it’s capable of taking on the weight of most people, its smaller yet taller build makes it more likely to tip over.
About Yeti
YETI Coolers was founded in 206 with a simple mission: build the cooler they’d use every day if it existed.
One that was built for the serious outdoor enthusiast rather than for the mass-discount retailers.
One that could take the abuse they knew they’d put it through out in the field and on the water.
One that simply wouldn’t break.
They decided early on that product innovation would come from necessity and first-hand experience – not from market research and data analysis.
Today, YETI products perform when it matters most - whether that be an excursion into the remote Alaskan wilderness, chasing redfish on the Gulf coast, or just getting together with friends in the backyard.
